Johnson has LGBT+ 'blind spot', says first openly gay cabinet minister

The first openly gay male MP, Lord Chris Smith has argued that electing a trans member to parliament was a "glass ceiling yet to broken" by the current government.

Lord Smith has urged Boris Johnson to encourage diversity in government and it would also send a positive message to the public.
