Is big tech now just too big to stomach?
This article takes a look at some of the big tech companies such as Microsoft, Facebook and Apple and how many have seen their sales increase significantly during the past year.
To provide some perspective, it is believed that "Alphabet’s $162bn of revenues outweighed the size of Hungary’s economy in 2019." Alphabet is the parent company of Google.
Students could consider the sociological implications of a huge amount of money and power in the hands of these companies.
