This fascinating and stark article explores how HIV is portrayed around the world in a number of countries; including Thailand, India and the UK.

The article is part of a 10-year project and presents some astonishing figures about the numbers of people living with HIV, and also those who have access to medication.

This article could be used within the Health unit, and a discussion point about how illnesses such as HIV are seen around the world.
