Half of women in UK fear equality is going back to 1970s – survey

There were a number of resources and materials released last week across different platforms for International Women's Day, but this article stood out.

A Mumsnet poll found that women said that they felt that gender equality was going to reverse. For example, female respondents said they felt that that women had borne the brunt of school closures and 1/5 said that they had reduced their working hours to help with the increase of the demand of childcare.

This article could be used for Families and Households as well as Work, Poverty and Welfare.
