‘Devastating for women and girls’: UK cuts 85% in aid to UN family planning

The British government has cut funding to the UN population fund (UNFPA).

The move has been criticised by many who believe that women and girls are more likely to suffer as a result, with reduced access to contraception and family planning services.

This article could be used for the Global Development unit and Families and Households (demographics, fertility).
