Scientists who have contributed to a recent report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have said that countries must act now to ensure that global temperature rises don’t exceed 1.5C.

A BBC report states that “the window of opportunity is not yet closed”but if countries fail to act, this could affect the liveability of the planet.

The following article and the report by the IPCC could be used within the Global Development unit as well as Research Methods (comparing quantitative and qualitative data).
