I am just a marking machine today. Probably brain dead tomorrow as well. I’ve done 330 scripts and have 16 to go. It does put me in mind of a cross between Harry Braverman and Max Weber; the deskilled bureaucracy at work. Although I guess I shouldn’t really be saying that I’m unskilled. It’s the routinization and repetition. A robot couldn’t do it though- unless we have multiple choice tests for everything.
