The contents of this book reflect the style of questions that are asked on the AQA A Level Sociology Paper 3 on Crime and Deviance. Each section contains a range of questions drawn from the different specification points outlined by AQA in their specification documentation. Whilst some questions are explicitly drawn from a particular specification point, other will require a synoptic knowledge and understanding of the topic area of crime.

There are three distinct sections of this book.

The first containing sample exam questions and activities to help students to suggest their own responses.

The second section contains student friendly mark schemes to allow students to self-assess their own responses and identify issues in their own responses.

The final section contains worked responses with commentary to the questions. These are suggested responses that would score in the higher levels of the mark scheme, but of course other responses could fare equally well - such is the nature of sociology.

This booklet contains practice questions for the AQA A Level Sociology core topic of Crime and Deviance. While the style of the questions mirrors those produced by AQA, the questions, mark schemes and worked answers have been produced by tutor2u for the purposes of this book.
