Epithelial tissue

Epithelial tissues form coverings and linings throughout the body. They cover the external body surface (skin), line internal body cavities (like the abdominal cavity), line the inside of hollow organs (like the digestive tract, airways, blood vessels), and form glands (like sweat glands or endocrine glands).
