The last couple of weeks have been very busy for the HSC team!

We have added a huge number of free resources to the AAQ BTEC National Unit 2 Human Biology & Health Collection. We now have topic PowerPoints and interactive PowerPoint games covering all topic areas up to and including B4 The Endocrine and Renal System. That's an impressive 25 topic PowerPoints and 30 interactive games all freely available to you. We have also added a range of teaching activities, including hands-on and practical ways to teach topics such as the cardiac cycle and ventilation.

A complete set of 22 digital download Unit 2 Human Biology & Health Assessment Mats is now available to buy. Each Assessment Mat consists of an original scenario or visual stimulus for students to apply their knowledge and understanding, and original questions for students to attempt. The collection comes complete with answers, which are great for encouraging self or peer assessment. Each mat also has an extension activity, designed to further consolidate learning and serve as exam preparation and revision.

Our much anticipated Assignment Success Student Workbook for AAQ BTEC National in Health & Social Care Units 3 - 7 is now available in the shop. In coursework units, the biggest hurdle for students isn't knowing the content; it's knowing how to write a structured, referenced, and criteria-compliant assignment. This new student workbook is a 64-page guide that explicitly teaches planning, writing, referencing, and plagiarism avoidance.

We have finalised our materials for the forthcoming Grade Booster Revision Workshops for BTEC National Unit 2 Working in Health & Social Care and BTEC Tech Award Component 3 Health & Wellbeing, which are set to be our best ever! We are looking forward to seeing many of you in Manchester, Birmingham and London.

We have had the pleasure of facilitating sessions on BTEC National Unit 4 Enquiries into Current Research in Health & Social Care as part of our Interim Teaching Service. If your school or college is struggling to cover maternity leave or sickness, or is lacking a particular specialist, do get in touch to see how we can help.

Some of the team are now featured on the tutor2u Personal Tuition directory; do pass on the details of this site if you know of anyone wishing to source a high quality personal tutor.

Finally, our social media spaces have seen a surge in likes and follows, do join us on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X!
