This topic video looks at Plate Tectonic Theory, and how Alfred Wegener came up the idea of Continental Drift, which was largely discredited at the time, but proved later through observations linked to convection currents, palaeomagnetism and sea floor spreading.

It is part of the AQA GCSE Geography course - Paper 1: Unit A - The Challenge of Natural Hazards.
