I have been trying to create better differentiation in my lessons. As a result I have put together some word mats for each KS3 topic. They will be A3 sized andlaminated. The intention is that these will be out on the desk from the start of each lesson and will help all pupils learn the meanings and spellings of keywords. I have tried to use different colours to make them easier to read and the pictures will help both visual learners and the lowest ability pupils. This is an example of one I am using with year 9.
