Following on from recent news that Donald Trump will withdraw the USA from the Paris deal; its heartening that another powerful industrial nation is choosing to stick to the deal.
In the article on bbc.co.uk Modi stated that India would go "above and beyond" what is required from the Paris agreement. Along with India, many other global leaders have criticised Trump for the rash decision to withdraw the USA from the deal. Trump's belief is that by abiding with the deal that it will impact upon the US economy and will cost many jobs.
