Singapore plans an underground future

Subterranean urbanisation in action here as we read about Singapore's plans for extensive investment in their underground economy. Using advanced engineering capabilities, Singapore is currently mapping their subterranean space ahead of the publication of a master plan in 2019.

"The government in 2015 made legislative changes that enable it to buy land beneath private blocks, and limit private owners to 30 metres of space below their properties." More here
