Hurricane Irma's path of destruction
10th September 2017
After days of destruction across the Caribbean, Irma hits Florida.
After destroying many areas across the Caribbean and leaving 25 people dead and thousands homeless, Irma has moved across the Gulf of Mexico and hit Florida. Earlier fears that the predicted track of the storm would aim it directly at Miami have been alleviated as it has veered west away from Miami. However despite the fact that the storm won't pass directly over Miami there are still concerns that there will be damage. Most residents have evacuated with tens of thousands of people including many foreign tourists taking refuge in schools and other designated buildings.
As Florida continues to be battered by the force of Irma, only time will tell regarding how much damage this storm will cause. Keep up to date with the news on http://www.telegraph.co.uk/new...
