Deadly floods caused by tropical storm Florence
15th September 2018
Flash floods created by Florence are threatening the USA's east coast.
Tropical storm Florence is still causing havoc despite being downgraded from a hurricane to tropical storm status on Friday evening. Five people have already died in North Carolina and with storm surges predicted, this number is likely to increase. Freshwater flooding is likely all along the coastline and many people have been evacuated. FEMA has 9,700 national guard troops and civilians stationed along the coast in preparation for the clean up and rescue operation. For more information, check out this news report...
