Cities are fuelling economic growth around the world. There are signs that several of Britain’s cities are growing once again, but there is a big gap between their performance and that of other cities in the developed world.

Here are details of a new short book on Britain's cities written by Mike Emmerich due for publication shortly by our friends at the London Publishing Partnership.
