Most Favoured Nation Tariff

The Most Favoured Nation (MFN) tariff is a trade policy that grants all countries equal access to a country's tariffs on imported goods. It is based on the principle of non-discrimination, which requires that countries do not discriminate between their trading partners. The MFN tariff applies to all countries that have a trade agreement with a particular country, unless specific exceptions are made.
