Linking Work Placement to Classroom Learning | Unit 4 Research and Reflective Practice

This pack aims to support students through their work placement and suggest opportunities to link units of study to work experience placement.

It contains:

• A grid for each unit (1 to 4)
  • listing themes that they are likely to see in placement, and
  • with a place to record related observations in work placement.
• A section on reflective practice
  • with a list of suggested activities and experiences they might want to reflect on, and
  • a reflective log that utilises the reflective models from the specification (Gibbs, Kolb, Schon).
• A work placement log
  • a basic log to record their experience, how it links to what they have learned, and
  • a place for work placement and student to sign.
