Yesterday, something momentus happened in the Prior household. My youngest daughter really ‘came of age’ and decided to move up to CBBC from CBEEBIES. This meant that I could now watch a more ‘adult’ range of childrens TV shows, such as Scooby Doo and Chucklevision. I was tweeting about this with Graham Carter and it reminded me of a classic Chucklevision episode which I use to teach pricing to GCSE students.

This brilliant video clip which comes in at a student friendly 6 minutes and 47 seconds is called ‘I Scream Men’, and involves Paul and Barry running a small Ice Cream Stall. The video clip covers promotion, location and pricing. In order to respond to ‘Slackinos’, Paul and Barry engage in a price war without any real thought for their costs.
