Top 10 most influential companies in the UK

A survey of 1,000 ‘opinion leaders’ from the City, business leaders, politics and NGOs, media and the public sector by TLG Communications has identified the Top 10 most influential companies in the UK.

It is interesting to tease out with an A level class why certain UK brands are in this list ie what do they have in common And why no Marks & Spencer or Virgin Atlantic - they came in at 11th and 12th.

The key dynamic is how the firm is seen to be doing business ie the impact of ethics on costs and revenues.

I attach a PowerPoint as a potential starter activity.
