Alternatively, you could turn the timeline into a quiz.

Do your students know the year when:

  1. The Imperial was founded?
  2. Kenya gained independence?
  3. Global Properties bought The Imperial?
  4. Jomo Kimathi retired, returning to Kenya?
  5. Martin was promoted to Hotel Manager?
  6. Kenya adopted its new Constitution?
  7. Susan Chapman dismissed Guthoni?
