The Challenge of Linear - Heads Together

One of the key challenges that teachers face when moving to a linear specification is re-capping and revisiting topics that have previously been taught.

It is impossible to ‘revise’ two years of content in a few weeks at the end of the course. This makes it imperative for teachers to build in time during the two years to recap and revisit core topics. This could be a whole lesson or a simple starter activity.

Below is one of my favourite ‘revision’ activities that takes no preparation and is not only engaging but highly effective. It is called Heads Together.
