Pet Airways - Is This a Shaggy Dog Story?

I’m not convinced that this business start-up is for real. But the story comes from the US, and its featured on the venerable BBC, so it must be true…

Pet Airways is firmly targeted at a niche in the air travel market - comfortable flights for pampered pets (or “Pawsengers” as they are cutely named).

50 pets per flight doesn’t sound a lot - I suspect the breakeven volume ought to be more than that, depending the price charged.
