Golden Arches brings back its World Heist menu for a second year.

McDonald’s UK has confirmed the return of World Heist, a limited-time promotion that brings menu items from its overseas markets to restaurants in the UK and Ireland.

The 2026 line-up runs from 22 September and includes products from Germany, Canada, India, Australia, China, the Netherlands and the UAE.

For the first time, the promotion extends to breakfast. Two Australian items, a Chicken & Egg McMuffin and a Chicken & Bacon McMuffin, put chicken on the UK breakfast menu for the first time.

Other additions include the Big Rösti from Germany, the Maple & Cheddar Chicken from Canada, Paprika McShaker Fries from the Netherlands, a Szechuan dip from China, a guava drink from India and a S’mores McFlurry from Canada.

Mac & Cheese Triangles from the UAE return after proving very popular in the 2025 promotion, suggesting McDonald’s has used sales data and market research to decide what to repeat. Each item is available only for a fixed window, with different products withdrawn between 19 October and 19 November.

Because the recipes are already sold in other countries, McDonald’s is adding to its UK product portfolio without developing products from scratch, using product differentiation to stand out in a highly competitive market.
