Bugatti and other high-end car manufacturers to build skyscrapers.

Luxury companies are increasingly diversifying into property development through branded residences. These are typically high-end apartment that carry the name of a prestigious brand.

This allows firms traditionally associated with products like supercars, watches, and fashion to enter the real estate sector and represents a form of brand extension.

The market has grown substantially, with the number of developments worldwide expanding from under 200 projects in 2011 to over 600 currently, with predictions suggesting this could exceed 1,000 by 2030.

Whilst historically dominated by hotel chains, non-hotel luxury brands now represent a growing segment, with companies like Bugatti, Porsche, and Aston Martin all developing residential towers.

Dubai has emerged as the leading location for these developments, driven by wealthy individuals relocating to the region and attracted by relatively lower tax rates.

These properties often sell for 30-40% above non-branded luxury accommodation.
