Bread Zeppelin - Try This Free A Level Business Ratio Revision Activity

Here is an activity that teachers may find useful as we approach exam season.

Bread Zeppelin in an artisan bakery located in the North East of England.

Using the financial data and information provided, students need to work out the gross profit margin, the acid test ratio, return on capital employed and the gearing ratio of the bakery.

There is also an extra activity requiring students to re-calculate gearing after additional borrowing to fund an expansion.

Note: This activity was taken from one of our Grade Booster workshops in 2017. Not all A Level Business students are required to calculate the acid test ratio therefore this question can simply be omitted.
