BrewDog to give away 20% of their annual profits

The fast-growing craft beer brand Brewdog has announced that twenty per cent of their annual profits will be distributed each year - 10 per cent to charity and 10 per cent to their employees.
Having heard James Watt discuss his business at a talk at the LSE a while back, the announcement seems to chime in with their unconventional approach! Here is the video introducing their Unicorn Fund.
They claim:
This is not about altruism, this is about impact.
This is not about profits, it is about purpose
