An Idiots Guide to Writing Essays

 My Year 12 class were set the task of writing an essay writing guide. This was the fruits of their labour.

They were asked to specifically to focus on a template for discursive essays. The 5 steps they decided to include were:

1.Defining key terms

2.Writing a balanced argument

3.Essay structure, (plan before you write)

4.Use of connectives

5.Writing a conclusion

There is nothing revolutionary in here, but, it is always good to stress the basics at the start of a new course.
