FAQs

How does the tutoring work?

Your tutor will arrange lesson times that suit you and explain which online platform they use — most often Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom or Zoom.

Everything’s delivered live and one-to-one, so your lessons are completely tailored to your needs.

How much does it cost?

Tuition rates vary depending on your tutor and subject. Your tutor will agree a rate with you directly, based on their usual tuition fees.

How do I pay for tuition?

Payments are arranged directly with your tutor. They’ll explain how and when payment should be made once you’ve agreed to work together. Payments aren’t made through tutor2u.

What if I'm not happy with a tutor?

If something’s not quite right, please raise it first with your tutor. Most issues can be quickly resolved with a chat. If you’re still unhappy after that, contact us at tuition@tutor2u.net.

Do you support students with special educational needs (SEN)?

Yes. Some of our tutors have specific experience supporting students with special educational needs. You’ll find details of this on their tutor profiles, so you can choose someone with the right expertise for your child.

Can I sign up to become a tutor?

Obtaining a listing on this service is by invitation only. If you’re interested in working with us, the best way to start is to email tuition@tutor2u.net about how we might collaborate - for example, by contributing to resources, supporting our events, or sharing your expertise through content creation.
