ABOUT THESE REVISION FLASHCARDS
Each Classic Text Revision Card features a summary of the key concepts and conclusions for each each. There is also a QR code that students can scan with their smartphone cameras to access more detailed notes on the text.
We've left the reverse side of each card blank so students can add their own notes.
• Revision cards: use the QR codes and make further notes on the reverse side of the cards.
• Sorting activity 1: sort into groups where the texts are in broad agreement (within each topic area).
• Sorting activity 2: Sort cards into pairs where one text specifically disagrees or challenges the other (within each topic area).
• Quiz activity: Students work in pairs and one reveals pieces of information about a key text from the card and see how few clues are needed for the other to identify the correct text.
