Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Economics to cover a placement for a Trainee Teacher for 3 weeks. You would join the team at an outstanding HMC school with an exemplary reputation for academic results, innovation and pastoral care.

As an inspirational, innovative teacher who is able to provide challenges for all pupils, including the able, gifted and talented, you will play a key roles teaching students’ how to analyse numerical and written data, to evaluate different points of view and to express themselves clearly on paper and verbally in class discussion.

The ideal candidate will have an Honours degree in Economics or a related subject, with qualified teacher status and evidence of further professional development.

The ability to teach Business Studies would be an advantage.

Economics is a highly regarded academic discipline at Bromley High School; the application of which is relevant to the real world. Every news programme, political debate and discussion, and many of our everyday conversations are littered with economic concepts.
