Loughborough Amherst School are looking for a full-time experienced Teacher of Business and Economics to work between 0.8 FTE and full-time from September 2023 (or April 2023 if available). The willingness to also run Young Enterprise would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone who conveys a profound enthusiasm for their subject and can promote a culture of aspiration, resilience, and critical thinking. Business is a very popular subject at Amherst School after launching it at GCSE level in 2019 with clear progression route to A level. Economics teaching is in its infancy but has exciting scope for development. The successful applicant will be part of the Humanities faculty. The department is well-resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided.
