This GCSE Maths revision webinar is on The Quadratic Formula and Completing the Square.
Who's it for:
The webinar is aimed at Higher tier students. You should attend if have ever experienced problems using the quadratic formula (in particular not getting the signs right in your calculations). Completing the square is also covered and we will look at what the completed square form tells us about the graph of a quadratic function. This will be the more challenging part of the webinar and students aiming for a grade 8 or 9 will find this particularly useful.

About this webinar

By the end of the webinar, you will:
- Be able to substitute correctly into the quadratic formula to find the solutions of a quadratic equation
- Know how to write a quadratic in completed square form
- Know how to use the completed square form to find the turning point of a quadratic curve

He has held various management positions in three high-performing schools, including Head of Department. Stephen is passionate about his subject, and with his background in engineering Stephen strives for students to make concrete links between Maths and its applications.
