About this webinar
The OnDemand version of this webinar contains video recordings of all the key content covered in the webinar which you can work through at your own pace.
By the end of the webinar, you will:
- Be familiar with the techniques needed to simplify and manipulate surds in calculations
- Know how to rationalise surds, which are usually worth several marks in the exam
- Know how to apply indices laws correctly, and how to work with negative and fractional indices.
Stephen is a Maths teacher with over 14 years’ experience across the 11-18 age range in UK schools. He has held various management positions in three high-performing schools, including Head of Department. Stephen is passionate about his subject, and with his background in engineering Stephen strives for students to make concrete links between Maths and its applications.
