Dr Guy Sutton

Dr Guy Sutton’s primary research interests are the genetics of neural development and the interactive nature of biological, behavioural and genetic factors in disease processes; in particular, how the brain can affect immunity increasing susceptibility to illness. He is an Honorary Special Lecturer in Neuroscience at University of Nottingham Medical School 

Dr Kathy Charles

Dr Kathy Charles lectures at Edinburgh Napier University. A forensic psychologist, she will deliver a session on "In the Mind of a Murderer"

Dr Debbie Custance

Session Title: Will Lassie Get Help? Attachment and Empathy in Dogs.

The Strange Situation and Attachment are key parts of the A-Level specification and in this session, Dr Custance will explore some interesting research on animal versions of the strange situation, and also take a look at empathy in dogs while considering whether interacting with dogs can actually lower student anxiety.

    Anne Cooper

    Anne is a highly experienced teacher who was also Head of Psychology in a sixth form college for a number of years. In addition, Anne has many years experience as both an examiner and senior examiner for AQA.

    Joseph Sparks


    Joseph is the Subject Lead for Psychology at tutor2u. He is an experienced Psychology & Music Teacher, Writer, Examiner and Presenter. He is currently completing a Professional Doctorate in Education and is passionate about the impact of technology on teaching and learning.
