Effective Revision Activities: The Saboteur | tutor2u Events

Psychology meets revision lessons here with perhaps the most fiendishly clever revision activities we’ve ever created at tutor2u!

Hosts: Jon Clark, Michelle Stephenson

About this webinar

Set your students up into small teams and tell them they are about to answer a series of tough questions. However, in each team one student will have been secretly designated as the ‘Saboteur’ – their role is to offer feasible but incorrect answers to try and put their colleagues off.

Can the ‘good’ students work out who the Saboteur is? Can the Saboteur in each team remain undetected and prevent their colleagues from scoring well?

The Saboteur is simply perfect for an engaging and effective revision activity (lasting around 30 minutes) that teachers enjoy every bit as much as the students!

In this webinar we'll show you how to set up The Saboteur, including how to edit the PowerPoint resource used as the game board. We'll show how teachers secretly but randomly select the team saboteurs.

As always, the resource will be made available to all attendees along with hints and tips on how to make the most of it with your students.
