Hereford Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint a Teacher of BTEC Business, Enterprise and Travel. Enterprise and Travel and Tourism are popular and successful subjects and consistently achieve Grade 1 department status. The department currently offers the following courses: Enterprise at BTEC Level 1/2 and Level 3Travel and Tourism at BTEC Level 1/2 and Level 3. Across the department there are currently 7 first year BTEC certificate groups and 5 second year extended certificate groups, with 3 groups for the level 1/2 programme. Due to an increase in numbers in Enterprise, we are looking for one part time member of staff to teach in the department. The successful applicants will be expected to teach across both subjects and at levels 2 and 3. Four members of staff contribute to the work of the department and do teach other subjects across the department. The areas work closely together, and most teachers have been involved in more than one area.
