NEW: A-Level Psychology Grade Booster Workshop (AQA & OCR)

tutor2u are delighted to announce the programme for the Grade Booster Student Revision Conferences taking place from March-May at venues across the country.

We have worked with teachers and examiners for AQA and OCR to put together a first-class revision conference for Year 13 students.

Here's a sneak peak of the sessions:

Session 1: All About Application (10:30-11:15)

  • How to engage with the STEM
  • Moving beyond the STEM (when required)
  • Writing appropriate and relevant application

Session 2: RM in Context (11:15-12:00)

  • Design a first-class experiment
  • Full mark hypotheses and tricky short-answer questions
  • Top grade responses to extended RM questions

Session 3: Essays Matter, Full Stop! (12:15-13:00)

  • Planning works, rote learning doesn’t!
  • Unpicking the question and signposting your answer
  • Holistic Marking: The need to be Focused, Effective, Explicit, Clear & Coherent, Elaborated

Session 4: Treatments, Therapies and a Splitting Headache (13:50-14:35)

  • Split Brain Research without the headache
  • Psychology Pharmacy: Biological and psychological therapies
  • Apply explanations and treatment to your Year 2 Topics

Session 5: Let’s Get Serious with Issues & Debates (14:35-15:15)

  • The link between issues & debates and areas/approaches
  • Effective evaluation with issues & debates in Year 2 Topics
  • The final countdown to 7, 14, 22 June
