About this event

Topics have been selected based on what you find most difficult. If you need extra help with your maths, this series of webinars is for you. Register to join us to help boost your performance in the new, tougher GCSE Maths exams in summer 2017.

Learning outcomes

In this webinar, we will cover how to change between ordinary numbers and numbers written in standard form, and how to perform calculations with standard form. You will also become familiar with exam style questions on this topic.

When you take part in the webinar, please make sure you have pen and paper ready to answer questions.

Your Host

    Stephen Lupton


    Stephen is a Maths teacher with over 14 years’ experience across the 11-18 age range in UK schools. He has held various management positions in three high-performing schools, including Head of Department. Stephen is passionate about his subject, and with his background in engineering Stephen strives for students to make concrete links between Maths and its applications.
