This week's Economics News quiz with special 'Penalty Shootout' version
13th January 2017
Here's this week's (w/e 13 Jan 17) 6-question Economics news quiz with multi-choice answers. Along with the usual Powerpoint and paper-based version of the activity, this week we've included a version that can be played in class using a game called 'Penalty Shootout'.
This new version is good for any small classes (with 10 or less students) where you can split them into 2 teams. The teams get to answer 3 questions each in a 'penalty-shootout' style. If the two teams are tied at the end of the shootout they can have a go at the news-based tie-break question. Enjoy!
