Google Rejects EU Competition Probe

This really could develop into a remarkable story: Google has formally rejected the EU Competition Commissioner's assessment that it has been abusing its dominance in the market for internet searches. Read the article on this from the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-34076597
Further, the company has alleged that the objections of the EU authorities are "wrong as a matter of fact, law and economics". Strong stuff, suggesting that either they've got a point or that the 'front' of Messrs Brin and Page knows no bounds.
