Sony’s Product Development Timeline

Here is a superb graphical illustration which summarises the key product innovations introduced by Sony over the years. Whilst Sony perhaps doesn’t have the same reputation for innovation as it used to (certainly compared with Apple), the graphic is a great way of illustrating examples of new product development in consumer electronics. Would also be useful on the IWB for a lesson on product life cycle.
