Back to the Future 2 day - How accurate were the film’s technological predictions?
21st October 2015
Back to the Future 2 (as of tomorrow, a film solely about the past!) predicted that 2015 would be a world of flying cars, wearable technology and personalised advertisements; well, two out of three ain’t bad considering it was made in 1989. Amongst its other predictions, the internet is conspicuous in its absence, instead, people use fax machines from the pavement! However, the film did get it right with its inclusion of flying drones, tablets, smart glasses, Skype-like videos and voice-activated TVs.
