Waterloo Road

I’ve just had the misfortune to watch about 20 minutes of this dreadful BBC series - Waterloo Road - tonight.

But I’m sure there will be some much more resourceful, robust, and ‘with-it’ teachers than me out there, who will be able to make some use of Waterloo Road. Good luck to you all! Myself, I found it like a really bad pantomime, with some excruciatingly predictable villains and plot.

I do wish the BBC would ban dramas based in schools. Tell the script writers to try and come up with something more interesting. And imaginative.  OK, I know I shouldn’t carp - as someone who keeps wittering on about the superiority of stuff like Kojak, but really, there are limits.

Happy viewing.

Oh come on! ‘Teachers’ was awesome! As long as you didn’t take it at all seriously.
