What is power? 
Who has it, who can get it and how can they get it? The example of the England football team seems to me to offer some useful examples or illustrations. Possibly. Maybe. Is power in the squad best seen as a zero sum or positive sum concept? Is power organised as a hierarchy? Can stars with high status cut across the normal channels of power? Who has the least power in the squad? Can ‘player-power’ oust the leader (the manager)? Is power organised on a legal-rational basis or a charismatic basis (Weber). See what I mean? I think you can or could, have great fun with this game.
