I’ve found a great little series of clips on YouTube featuring Pierre Bourdieu. There are about 7, all are numbered. Use 1 and 2 to introduce sociology - Bourdieu is interesting - sociology is scientific he says and he is cagey about the political! In other clips he talks about symbolic violence, cultural capital, social reproduction and gender relations. All in French, but he speaks slowly and anyway, there are subtitles. Regardez!
