Media Update - Wikileaks

Wikileaks is all over the media at the moment so it’s time we sociology teachers updated our material.  Giddens talk on climate change (see earlier post) pointed out the important role which bloggers are having in that debate.  Wikileaks is interesting therefore in applying to debates about the freedom of the press and debates about ownership and control, Pluralist and Marxist models of the media. Here are a couple of links:
