Royal wedding boost for UK economy

So by now we have all heard the news of William and Kate’s wedding in 2011. I bet though that your first thoughts weren’t about how it could boost the economy. Tourism, merchandising and broadcasting among the best placed sectors to make large sums of money from the event. Also the feel good factor is likely to boost spending in the economy as whole.
