tutor2u announces results for November 2010

tutor2u, the online elearning community for Business, Economics, Politics and related subjects, has announced 65% growth in website traffic for November 2010 compared with the prior year.

In Nov 2010 tutor2u’s main website (www.tutor2u.net) recorded 1.78 million unique user visits, an increase of 65.3% over Nov 2009.

Direct traffic accounted for 20.9% of visitors, with a further 10.9% from referring sites.  Search engine and social media visitor referrals were 66.7% of the total.

Cumulatively for the four months to 30 Nov 2010, tutor2u’s website traffic was 5.4 million users, an increase of 70.3% over prior year.

Social media has been a key factor in driving visitor growth to tutor2u in recent months.  Referrals from Facebook.com have increased by 367% over 2009 following the growth of tutor2u’s Facebook page which now has almost 5,000 fans.
